Fx News Spike Signals by Crazy Cat, 2019/05/03

Release Time: 04:30 New York time (EST)
Primary currency pair: GBP/USD
Forecast: 50.3
Prior: 48.9
LT1 (Lower Trigger 1): -1.9 [SELL]
UT1 (Upper Trigger 1): +1.9 [BUY]
Safety: 7

Due to Brexit events, be careful when trading anything out of Great Britain. The market is very focused on Brexit talks now.

If GB Services PMI comes out at 48.4 or less ( -1.9 trigger), GBP/USD should go down by about 15 pips. If GB Services PMI comes out at 52.2 or higher ( +1.9 trigger), GBP/USD should go up by about 15 pips.

Based on 34 estimates, the median estimate is 50.3 and the average estimate is 50.2. The highest estimate is 51.5 (one vote), then 51.0 (six estimates), 50.7 (one estimate), 50.5 (eight votes), and 50.4 (one vote).

The lowest estimate is 48.5 (one estimate), then 49.0 (two votes), 49.2 (one estimate), 49.5 (one vote), 49.7 (three votes), 50.0 (three votes), 50.1 (two votes), and finally 50.2 (four estimates). One standard deviation is +/- 0.66, up from 0.38 last month.

Sometimes this report works OK and sometimes it doesn't so I don't recommend placing big orders, especially if you choose to select even smaller triggers.
