SNW Enterprise vs Elite
Progress is a beautiful thing
We at Fast Economic News have always been forward thinking. Out of the smoke of
creation, a brand new industry leading product has been actualized - SNW Enterprise.
The result: spectacularly extreme performance enabling you to do things that you
couldn't do before.
Next generation speed
SNW Enterprise keeps you connected faster than ever before. With the addition of
several ultrafast news sources, it delivers killer performance — up to 500 ms faster
than its predecessor and sometimes even more. This unprecedented capability affords
you an incredible advantage in news spike trading that propels you towards the front
of the line. Imagine having this kind of humongous power over the market.
High performance in a double dose
Only SNW Enterprise and SNW Elite support Parallel Pathway PowerFeed Technology
which is our implementation of two separate parallel server connections. This
means they transmit the data utilizing both TCP and UDP packet technology, all
at the same time. Additionally, only SNW Enterprise connects to our U.S. and
British servers simultaneously to optimize and enhance news delivery time. So
when important news is being released, you will automatically receive it through
the best available connection for the fastest possible performance.
The most advanced weapon in its most advanced form
Let's face it, speed is everything. So with Enterprise we took something that hundreds
of our customers already loved and refined the experience to make it even more rewarding.
With the same awesome features like Multi Report Resolution Mode, Visual Clicks
or Mini Mode, its improved speed transforms wishful thinking into reality. When
you absolutely, positively have to have the fastest weapon, SNW Enterprise is there
— ready and able.
Let's take a look at this added fire power. You are going to like what you are about
to see.

Performance Comparison Notes:
1 - This sample chart contains reports being released between March 01, 2018 and
May 31, 2018.
2 - These speed comparisons do not include the added performance advantage of
UDP Parallel Pathway PowerFeed Technology. This technology should shave off a
few extra milliseconds on every report. Also, depending on your location and
news release, the additional Bristish server may also shave off a few additional
milliseconds as well.
Q: Why is SNW Enterprise faster?
A: Two reasons: We have added several more ultra-fast news sources in addition to
the sources already found in SNW Elite or Pro. Additionally, as an exclusive
feature to SNW Enterprise and SNW Elite, we have introduced UDP Parallel Pathway
PowerFeed Technology as well as an additional British news server (SNW
Enterprise only) that improve data delivery performance across the internet to
our clients.
Q: How the additional UK server location can improve my news trading?
A: Your news trading depends on your location where you execute your trades using SNW Enterprise and on your broker location. If you are located in New York and you are trading on a U.S. based broker, most of the time our additional UK Enterprise news delivery server will not materially improve your news trading. Occasionally, however, if the British server was significantly faster, this may improve your news trading even if you are located in U.S.
If you are located in Europe and trading on a European broker, then the additional data from the British server can improve your news trading performance, especially for some European/Asian reports. If you are located in Asia, New Zealand or Australia, this also could improve your news trading as the British server might be closer to your location than U.S. server. Results will wary.
Q: Does the extra speed matter?
A: It depends. There are two types of brokers. One type are those who don't fill
during news events (or who artificially slip your entry price). In the case of these
brokers, the extra speed may not be a great benefit. However, for the other brokers
— the ones who fill your order without much interference, the extra speed should
make the difference leading to better fills. Obviously, if you trade large volumes
through a reasonable broker, better fills translate to higher profits.
Q: Are all reports faster now?
A: Many are. However, there are certain reports that just can't be any faster, so
they are already as fast as they are going to get.
Q: If a certain report in SNW Enterprise was faster in the past, will it be faster
this month as well?
A: Most of the time yes but it's not guaranteed. Each individual report will have
its own speed characteristic. Most reports will usually be faster in this case;
however, some others will be faster some of the time.
Q: Are Australian reports going to be faster?
A: Not significantly so. For several years now, due to unsophisticated Australian
report release methods, it has been extremely difficult to get Australian data on
time. They are released manually and therefore there is a lot of randomness in which
source sends it first. The more sources we monitor for this data makes it more likely
we will get the data sooner.
Q: What is the difference between TCP and UDP?
A: TCP ensures that data is delivered to its destination intact but carries with
it a larger overhead in doing so. On the other hand, UDP, commonly used by time
sensitive applications such as VOIP, DNS or multiplayer action games, is a lighter,
potentially quicker, but less feature rich protocol which has less overhead but
does not ensure data delivery. SNW Enterprise simultaneously utilizes the strengths
and weaknesses of both protocols helping to ensure the quickest possible data delivery
under potentially adverse internet conditions.
Q: Do I have to manually connect to the U.S. or UK server?
A: No, SNW Enterprise will automatically connect to both servers at the same time. Regardless of your location, you will always get news reports as soon as possible as both locations will broadcast news to your SNW Enterprise. Therefore, you may receive news first from U.S. location, then the other time from the British location. This dual location service is fully automatic and there is nothing to set up.
Q: Why is SNW Enterprise more expensive?
A: Since SNW Elite is already very fast, to make it any faster adds incredible extra
cost, and we simply cannot provide such service at the same monthly rate. With the
ever increasing demands of traders, we can’t make a “one size fits all” product.
If we did, it would still be too expensive for some people and not fast enough for
some other people. With the introduction of SNW Enterprise, we can now cater specifically
to demanding high end traders without raising costs for SNW Elite and Professional.
We now have three individual products targeting three different groups of traders.
Therefore, instead of raising prices for everyone, we decided to provide a more
high end product with its own cost structure and let customers decide for themselves
which product is right for them. If customers are finding that SNW Elite and Pro
work well for them, then that is what they need without the extra cost. When milliseconds
matter and when trading larger accounts, it makes more sense to have the absolute
fastest weapon you can possibly get.
Q: Do I really need the faster speed offered by SNW Enterprise?
A: Certain reports on SNW Enterprise will most likely always be faster than on SNW
Elite. Some of these reports are the ones you are trying to make money on. The extra
speed advantage achieved with SNW Enterprise puts you closer to the front of the
line in terms of price action and fills. Every time your existing service is not
fastest, you risk a worse entry which translates to smaller profits and higher risks.
When you are trading larger account sizes, the faster speed of SNW Enterprise provides
added odds of success. The difference in speed may be significant: the difference
between making or losing money on a news trade. As always, it's up to you to determine
how much risk you want to take and how much profit you want to earn.
When milliseconds matter and risk reduction is paramount, then SNW Enterprise is
the only logical choice.
